What is the difference between Audio Memos SE and Pro?

Audio Memos SE (green icon) is free to download. It has a robust set of features, which we keep developing thanks to the revenue from the ads displayed in the app. If you do not want to see ads, or if you need to use advanced features, get a subscription inside the app.

If you prefer a one time payment, Audio Memos Pro (red icon) offers the following features (which are also available as a subscription in the free version):

• Adjust the playback speed,
• Automatically send your memos to Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive or other cloud services,
• Set position markers to easily navigate inside an audio file,
• Insert audio at any position of an existing recording,
• Get reminded about a memo at a certain date (mark memos as "due"),
• Merge selected portions of various memos,
• Tag your memos (and filter by tag),
• Voice activated recording,
• Associate pictures to a memo.

Some professional features are only available through a subscription to Audio Memos Pro+, these include:

• Send encrypted memos,
• Record unprocessed audio,
• Record at 48 kHz 24 bits per samples,
• Record in stereo (requires external microphones, or a supported iPhone),
• Keep memos encrypted while the app is closed.
