Can I use USB Disk to read the content of my memory stick / USB drive?
To access files and folders stored on an external USB device, you need to allow USB Disk to access this device. To do so:
- connect your external USB device to your iPhone, iPad or Mac,
- open USB Disk and go to the home screen,
- press the "+" button on the top of the home screen (this will open the "Server" screen),
- change the "Type" to "Files",
- press "Link account" (this shows content from the Files app),
- select the "Browse" tab and navigate back until you see "Locations",
- select the USB device in the list under "Locations",
- press "Open" (this will bring you back to the "Server" screen),
- press "Done" (this will bring back USB Disk's home screen).
You can now access the files stored on your external USB device. Note that you need to repeat this procedure for every USB device you want to access from within USB Disk. If the USB device is a SD card reader, you will need to repeat the procedure for every SD card.
